Projects
What is the strategy for project success and expanding the utility of FSCC?
We have several plans to develop smart contract-based service apps to expand the utility of FSCC. In June 2020, the FSCC protocol has been changed from Counterparty to ERC-20, which is used in various projects, so is expected to make things more convenient for users. In July of the same year, FISCO announced that it had begun working to develop an application to exercise voting rights at virtual shareholders meetings using smart contracts, a shareholder incentives application and an FSCC staking application (http://www.fisco.co.jp/uploads/20200805_fisco_pr.pdf). The developments of the first 2 applications have already completed in November. As the number of virtual shareholders' meetings increases, we expect more users to use our voting apps. We are also holding a public offering for business development with a view to further expanding the utility of FSCC.
What was your Motivation to build Your next Project and what is your vision and mission now?
Main goal of this project is establishment and expansion of FSCC ecosystem. FISCO increases corporate value of FISCO through creating new business utilizing concepts of DApps and DeFi and increasing FSCC value. One of the big reasons for the project was that we had already listed FSCC in Japan, where not so many tokens were listed. In the future, we will focus on strengthening the system in which FSCC will be held and used by many people.
Can you tell us what the main role of $FSCC in your ecosystem? what is the utility and use cases of $FSCC token?
Main usage of FSCC has been product purchasing, so far. However, we are developing 3 applications (shareholders benefits, shareholders meeting, and staking), where we expect the FSCC's usage will increase.
Who is your target customers- professional traders or the ones that are just getting started? Who can benefit the most from the tools that you are offering?
Main users who use FSCC as utility token in 2 applications already developed (shareholders meeting and shareholders benefit) are corporates and individuals in Japan. However we are welcoming ideas not only from Japan but also from overseas in the FSCC Start-up contest, which mean we regard non-Japanese users as target customers.
What are some of the major achievements that Your Project has achieved and what milestones are planned ahead in the next 6 months, 1 year and 5 years??
We issued the white paper in July 2020. Now we are developing 3 applications, and plan to start the business related. In the medium term, we want to achieve the decentralized scheme.
Marketing is a central element for every project, so that everyone knows the potential that a project can bring is vital to achieve the goals set. What is your strategy to attract new users and Investor to your platform and keep them long term.?
We will increase use cases in FSCC as the white paper mentioned. We are now developing 3 applications, and we want to expand business opportunities more.
with Your Project which partners will promote and help Your Project reach and achieve the project's goals?
The development partners are Kushim and CAICA Technologies on developing new projects in the white paper. Kushim will provide development services on a subcontracted basis for a lump-sum fee, while CAICA Technologies will provide technical support.Holding FSCC Start-up Contest may also be a clue to this issue.
What's the focus of the FISCO Coin now? Build and develop products, win customers and users or partnerships?
Currently, we are focus on getting three applications on track. Two of them have been developed and are now in business. All of the three applications, including staking, are expected to start operating in spring of 2021.
As a crypto project, did you have met any difficulty when you start up to become a successful project now?
We haven't faced big difficulties since we launched the white paper last year in 2020. When we face big difficulties, we want to overcome them, cooperating with FSCC community.
COVID 19 has affected the economy a lot, what effect does Covid-19 has on FISCO before now?
In the IR field, there was temporary confusion such as the cancellation of IR briefing sessions and the delay in approval of the release of new reports in the investment information field. However, the market is on an upward trend, and such negative impacts are heading in the direction of being covered.
In the bad situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, every industry was heavily affected. Does it effect on the growth of FISCO project team??
Covid-19 epidemic has been disaster and many industries are being affected. But our projects haven't been affected so much since they were in the premature stage.
Where does the money you are spending on your project come from and what are you spending that money on?
FSCC development is led by FISCO, Japan listed company. We are currently developing applications so as to create new businesses.
I am a FARMER, what are the prospects available for me in FISCO project. What are your most important next priorities? Are the fundamental tools sufficient to achieve these goals?
As mentioned in the white paper, we are planning to provide staking services. We are now developing staking application.
Is there any way that we can stake #FISCO? If not, then are you thinking about it?
We are now developing staking application. We will update the situation.
Having a Mobile App will certainly make it easier for users to access the FISCO Coin. Does FISCO Coin have any plans to release a Mobile App in the future?
Currently, we don't have plans to develop mobile apps. However, I think there is every chance that the needs will become apparent in the process of developing and marketing the three applications that we are currently focusing on, or in the process of launching another product.
Rationale for DApps Ownership by FISCO Subsidiary?
1) If, as implied in the name, DApps were decentralized apps without an administrator, there could be a lack of clarity regarding answers to the following questions.
- Who is the beneficial owner of the business? (not a corporation, individual, association or other corporate entity)
- If DApps recorded profits or losses from business income or payment of remuneration against procurement:
-- To whom would these profits/losses accrue, and who would pay the tax?
-- Would the profits/losses be passed through as distributions to investors?
-- Would any tokens utilized for DApps decision-making have the characteristics of governance tokens?
-- Token holders could incur issues relating to consolidation or taxation if they were deemed to be in control of the token:
-- How can stable business operations be feasible in the absence of a business entity, even if the latter arrangement is legal?
-- Who is liable or accountable for the transaction risk?
2) The kinds of questions outlined above are inevitable, even if the DApps framework is first created in Japan. From the perspective of compliance with tax, accounting and commercial laws, there are many issues that must be resolved in developing fully decentralized apps. This makes immediate implementation problematic. However, while designating FISCO subsidiary FDAP as the business entity might weaken decentralization, it enables many of these issues to be resolved. For these reasons, FDAP will be the owner of DApps.
Do the token holders have right to participate in the governance of the project? On what kind of decisions can they vote on about the project??
Projects are centralized and led by FISCO. But as the white paper mentioned, projects will be decentralized in the latter stage and token holders can execute governance rights.
What is the structure of this project, is it decentralized or a open sourced protocol where everybody can contribute? If so, how does the governance plan on being handled? Is there some risk of centralization in the future?
At the initial stage, this project is led by FISCO. But at the later stage, we plan to shift to the decentralized one, where FSCC can be used as governance token.
Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is your project also like this? If not, can u tell us, what makes your project different from other projects?
We issued the white paper in July 2020, where we announced the plans on developing 3 applications. Since then, we announced that 2 applications have already developed in the FISCO's press releases in November. We are going to disclose the status of projects going forward.
